I've made a post regarding on how to find the cause of your low virtual memory. Now I would like to show you on how to determine your virtual memory. Our friend also had asked about it on the comments column.

It is very easy to determine the virtual memory. Just follow these simple steps:

Right click My Computer --> Properties --> General tab

The amount of your virtual memory will be shown on the screen.

OK, now since we already know how to check and how to find the cause of low virtual memory, there will be another question asked; how to increase it?

There is nothing much you can do if the virtual memory installed to your laptop is very low. On my 4 years old laptop, the virtual memory is only 496 MB. The rules of increasing virtual memory is, you can only increase it by 1.5 times at most. So for my case, I can only increase it to 744 MB. The more virtual memory you have, the faster you computer will work.

Follow these steps to increase the virtual memory:

Right click My Computer --> Properties --> Advanced --> Performance --> Setting --> Advance --> Virtual Memory --> Change --> set the value --> OK

Have fun checking you computer now.
